National Forest Foundation Grants

The SHTC was awarded a National Forest Foundation (NFF) $10,000 grant in 2015 for purchase of trail maintenance materials and supplies.  A large portion of the grant money went to the purchase of lumber for the cycling trail boardwalk at NWCC C-57.  The remainder of the funds went to supplies and small hand tools.

In 2019 a NFF grant was awarded to complete the new cycling trail bridge at Double Lake Recreation Area.
